Welcome

On behalf of the organising committee, our partners and sponsors, I am pleased to announce the 27th Symposium of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society (ANZFSS 2025) will be held in Melbourne from the 12 – 16 October 2025.

Our theme for the 2025 Symposium will be: From Foundation to Innovation: Forensic Science in Transition.

Overlooking picturesque Albert Park, ANZFSS 2025 will deliver a scientific program synonymous with premier ANZFSS symposiums of the past, while elevating emerging disciplines and fostering increased opportunities for interactive sessions.

The social program will provide further avenues to forge new relationships, deepen connections, or continue discussions from the day in a relaxed social setting.

The Organising Committee are working hard on the finer details to ensure a thought provoking, engaging and educational experience. We welcome suggestions, offers of assistance from volunteers, or collaboration opportunities, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via e-mail.

We encourage you to save the date and express your interest via the form below, to ensure you are kept up to date with the latest announcements, registration information and program details. Whether you are an expert, partner, sponsor, researcher or student, this symposium promises something for everyone.

Your participation and engagement are pivotal in making this event a resounding success.

We look forward to greeting you in Melbourne in 2025!
