Registration for the 27th Symposium of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Society (ANZFSS 2025) is now open. Please read the registration information carefully before beginning the online registration.
Registration Fees
All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Definitions
Member
To access member registration rates, you must be a financial member of the Australian & New Zealand Forensic Science Society at the time of registration and provide your membership number during the registration process.
Student
To qualify for the student rate, you must be able to provide proof of your full-time student status at a tertiary institution (student card or enrolment confirmation) during the registration process.

Welcome Reception
Sunday 12 October 2025
5pm – 7pm
Business Attire
Take this opportunity to meet and catch up with your peers in a social environment at the ANZFSS 2025 Welcome Reception. If you have purchased a full or student registration, this ticket will be included in your registration fee. Additional tickets can be purchased for partners and guests via the online registration form.
Social Night
Tuesday 14 October 2025
7.30pm – 10.30pm
Themed attire or costumes strongly recommended
Get into party mode with your fellow delegates over drinks and delicious canapés. Tickets to the social night are available for purchase through the registration form.
Symposium Dinner
Thursday 16 October 2025
7.30pm – 11.30pm
Cocktail attire
The Symposium Dinner is a great way to bring the social events for ANZFSS 2025 to a close with a delicious sit down meal, drinks and some dancing too. If you have purchased a full or student registration, this ticket will be included in your registration fee. Additional tickets can be purchased for partners and guests via the online registration form.
Payment Deadlines
Registration must be received and paid in full by 30 June 2025 in order to receive the Early Bird Registration Rate.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Deadline: 12 August 2025
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Symposium Secretariat. Cancellations for registrations made by 12 August 2025 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 25 August 2025 without incurring any cost penalty. The Symposium Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers. The Organising Committee reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances.
Registration Alterations
Delegates must note that some social functions may reach their capacity limits and tickets are only guaranteed on a first come first served basis. From 12 August 2025 no refunds will be provided for a transfer of registration. There will be no cancellation allowance for failure to secure a visa to Australia. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registration. The Symposium Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

The Symposium and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Symposium Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Symposium Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Symposium does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
Symposium Cancellations
In the event of the cancellation of the Symposium, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
