ANZFSS 2025 social functions are designed to foster connection, celebration and enhance your overall Symposium experience. Discover our exciting functions below!
The Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner are included in the full registration fee and the Social Night – Into the Jungle is an additional fee to all registrations. All social functions require an RSVP.

Welcome Reception
Kick off ANZFSS 2025 by mingling with peers and delegates enjoying a drink and some light canapes. This casual setting is a great way to begin the Symposium for what is sure to be a great week!
Price: Free with Symposium Registration.
Additional tickets: $80.00, available to purchase through the registration form.
ANZFSS Social Night – Into the Jungle
Join us as we step “Into the Jungle” for a night of wild adventure, fascination and endless mystery. Immerse yourself in an enchanting world where every discovery unfolds through a foundation of captivating stories and inspires groundbreaking and innovative ideas. Join us in your finest jungle costume as we embrace the boldness of the jungle!

Tickets for the event are not included in the Registration and will be an additional cost.
Registered delegate ticket price: $95.00, purchase through the registration form
Non-registered delegate ticket price: $150, purchase through the social function form
Buses – to and from the Pullman Albert Park
Departing from the Pullman Albert Park to take attendees to Moon Dog Doglands from 6:30pm.
Buses will be running at the end of the night from Moon Dog Doglands back to the Pullman Albert Park from 10:45pm.
Bus Ticket: $20.00, purchase through the registration form
Bus tickets are not included in the event ticket price and are an additional cost.
Gala Dinner
End ANZFSS 2025 on a high note at the Gala Dinner, hosted at the iconic Melbourne Showgrounds. Dress to impress for an evening filled with drinks, a sit-down dinner and dance into the night. The Gala Dinner is the perfect was to end the Symposium and celebrate what is sure to be a great event.
Registered delegate ticket price: Free with Symposium Registration.
Additional tickets are $180.00 and available for purchase through the registration form
Non-registered delegate ticket price: $200, purchase through the social function form
Event Transport
Bus
Bus depart Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park from 5:45pm.
Buses returning to Pullman & Mercure Albert Part will depart Melbourne Showgrounds from 10pm.
Bus Cost: Free
Non-registered ticket: $20

Car
Free parking available at the Showgrounds for those who wish to drive.
All vehicles should enter via Gate 5 off Langs Road.
Please allow time for traffic as you will be travelling in peak hour.
Train (Public Transport)
If arriving by train, you will need to take the Craigieburn line to Newmarket Station and then catch Tram No.57 from the city to Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre (stop 32) on Epsom Road. It is approximately a 13 minute walk from the tram stop to Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.
Tram (Public Transport)
If arriving by tram, you will need to take the Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street City) and disembark at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Rd). Please note that stop 33 is no longer in use. It is approximately a 13 minute walk from the tram stop to Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.
The tram departs every 8 minutes.
