Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet, share, and learn. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the many Nations of this land. For our Symposium venue, Pullman Albert Park, we pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of Narrm, Yaluk-ut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung (Nation).
We also recognise and celebrate the richness of cultures and traditions from Aotearoa, the Pacific Islands, and people from all corners of the world. We honor the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and identities that make up our global community.
In our gathering, we welcome and embrace all people, regardless of nationality, culture, gender, ability, or identity. We commit to creating an inclusive space where everyone is valued, and where mutual respect, understanding, and connection can flourish.
